Built as a serious digital system, not just a simple page.
DirectoryFire is a modern business directory platform built to help users find and list local services with ease. The goal of this project was to create a logo and visual identity that felt bold, trustworthy, and instantly recognizable in a competitive digital space.
The Design Challenge
The client needed a brand mark that communicated both the "directory" concept — structured, organized, reliable — and the "fire" element — energy, speed, and prominence. The final identity had to work cleanly across web, mobile, and print contexts.
Design Process
Starting with mood boarding and competitor analysis across directory and listing platforms, the design direction focused on strong typographic choices paired with an icon mark that subtly references both flame and a location pin — a dual metaphor that reinforces the platform's core purpose.
Multiple concepts were explored across flat, gradient, and monochrome styles before arriving at the final mark, which balances approachability with professionalism.
Deliverables
- Primary logo (horizontal & stacked variants)
- Icon/favicon version
- Dark and light background versions
- Brand color palette and typography guide
- Export package (SVG, PNG, PDF)
Outcome
The final identity gave DirectoryFire a polished, market-ready presence that aligns with modern SaaS and directory platform aesthetics — ready to support their web application launch.
